Affiliate Marketing or Associate Marketing is big business online and off line. That is why Affiliate Marketing is the ultimate business, suitable for so many peoples like stay home moms (and dads), retirees, students or just about another looking for some extra spending money. It cost very little to get started. In many cases no money at all except your time and hard work on your part. Most affiliate network programs are free to join. Promoting a product or service is the simplest business you can start from home. Here are some reasons why is affiliate marketing is the ultimate business: * No Product Creation
* No inventory to carry or pay for
* No collecting payments
* No shipping and handling
* No customer support headache
* No refunds to deal with
* No shipping and handling
* All the above are done by others Affiliate marketing is generally being operate by affiliate network companies and this affiliate networks are composed of two functional groups, the group affiliates and the group merchants. The affiliate network acts as a third party between the merchants and the associated affiliates. The affiliate network provides the technology and know hows to deliver the merchant's products and services. The affiliate network also collects commission fees from the merchant and then pays the affiliates which are part of the affiliate program. Affiliate marketing is like the old fashion commissioned merchandising. Only you don't need to sell, just refer someone (customer) to the retail merchant's web site or offers. In affiliate marketing, an affiliate is compensated for every visitor, subscriber and or purchase provided through his promotional efforts. Sometimes just a zip code or e-mail address, you get paid a commission. It really doesn't get any easier than that when it comes to making money in affiliate marketing online or off line in your home based business!
